ABOUT US
We are Brock and Tangerine, husband + wife, who can't stay in one place for too long. In the past 14 years, our jet-setting life took us to live in 5 countries and 11 cities across 3 continents. Combined, we have been to 75+ countries. In 2015, we took a hiatus from our expat life to settle down in the United States, however, one and a half years later, adventure called again, and we moved to Israel for a year.
Today, we are currently back in the United States after our short but sweet expat stint in 2017. Before coming back, we thought of pursuing our dream of getting a travel trailer since our hearts seek a different type of adventure (glamping lifestyle). In 2018, that dream became a reality, and we finally got it and named her #DakotaTheCamper. In 2022, we upgraded her to #TerraTheAirsteam.

We haven't done a great job updating the blog, but our personal Instagram account has told quite a tale of our recent trips abroad and in the U.S. Eventually we will publish our entire story, but for the moment we are busy enjoying our weekend glamping trips and the freedom the road offers, in between doing groceries, chores, pursuing a grad school degree and full-time jobs.
We document our lifestyle through photographs - big or small, even the mundane or the extraordinary details of our travels, with our dogs. Nothing excites us more than seeing the world together, experiencing cultures and eating our way through different places.
We look forward in collecting the world in small handfuls and documenting our local adventures and misadventures + dog tales wherever we are in the world.

In 2017, we lived and enjoyed traveling around Israel. While living in Tel Aviv, we are fortunate enough to see Georgia, Armenia, and Jordan.
Since we got #DakotaTheCamper in 2018, we did a 22-day road trip to the West Coast of the United States (visited at least 13 states and 4 National Parks). We glamped around Virginia, including Virginia Beach, on weekends. In the summer of 2018, we checked out Columbus, Ohio, went to Hawaii for two weeks, visited San Francisco and Napa Valley, California, and revisited Honolulu! Early Fall of 2018, we did a 14-day Leaf Peeping Road Trip to the New England States: Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Rhode Island. We spent our holidays on the road in 2018 and visited San Antonio, Texas, and New Orleans, Louisiana.
In 2019, our first trip is to the United Kingdom. We spent 9 days eating our way thru London and just mainly enjoying the city without the hassle of seeing it all since we both have been to London numerous times. In March of 2019, we traveled to Ireland to celebrate our decade of marriage for the first time. Fourth of July weekend, we glamped in the Finger Lakes Region of New York. In August of 2019, we were fortunate enough to revisit Tokyo, Japan. We spent a week in the Shinjuku District of Tokyo, meandering around its tiny alleyways, eating great food, and savoring Tokyo's neon lights and nightlife.
In 2020, we planned a trip to the Puglia region of Italy and Rome, but a global pandemic happened, and our vacation was cancelled just like that. In June 2020, we did boondock and camped in Catskills, New York. In July of 2020, we did an 18-day road trip to South and North Dakota, Wyoming, Montana, Idaho, Minnesota, and Wisconsin. We visited Yellowstone NP, Grand Tetons NP, Jacksonhole, The Badlands NP, Wind Cave NP, Big Sky, Medora, Mt. Rushmore, Crazy Horse Memorial, and the surrounding area of the Black Hills in South Dakota.
In 2021, we road tripped the Pacific Northwest from Northern California to Oregon for 6 weeks in July, but first, we stopped by Salt Lake City, Utah, to see family. We visited Redwood NP, Crater Lake NP, Brookings, Coos Bay, Astoria, Mt. Hood, Cannon Beach in Oregon, Mt. Rainier NP, Seattle, Olympic NP, and North Cascades WA, and visited Glacier NP in Montana. We have seen 47 U.S. States so far. In October of 2021, we visited Albuquerque, NM for a week. In December of 2021, we went to Rome, Italy for 8 days to celebrate Christmas in Italy.
In 2022, we went to Buenos Aires, Argentina. We did a day trip to Colonia, Uruguay and visited Iguazu Falls in Brazil.
Hopefully, we can update you with our travels and adventures on our blog with more tips regarding camping and road trips, since we have learned a lot about glamping with our camper and boondocking across the United States.
Please feel free to e-mail us with any questions related to our travels. For now, here are some snap shots of the places we've been in the past year.
