Take care of all your memories. For you cannot relive them.

Why did we extend our already long trip to the Balkans to Poland? One of the main reason is probably because when I used to be a flight attendant, my old roommate is from Poland. Ever since then, I have been dying to see her country and experience it for myself. Knowing her left a mark in my heart that Poland is one of the countries I should never ever miss. Another reason is because Poland has been a big part of World War II history, as you know by now, we are both big enthusiasts.
We did not hesitate to add Krakow on our itinerary, even though it was already a stretch and thank God we did. Sadly, my old roommate is currently not living in Poland. However, some of my other batch-mates when I was flying are Polish too. I immediately contacted her that I was visiting and set something up. On a happy coincidence, I accidentally met her on her holiday in Montenegro and toured around with her prior our meet in Krakow. So, our meeting in Poland was an added pleasure, since we can hangout longer and catch up. This is just a sneak peek of the first pictures I took in the Old Town.

Here you could see the Cloth Hall and you can buy reasonably priced souvenirs. Below is a picture of Basilica of St Mary and inside, we saw amazing and rich decorations.
To Anna, we had a great time in visiting your country and you made it even much better by showing us where to eat the best of Polish pierogi to the fun experience of drinking some Polish-cocktail-mixed-with-hazelnut-flavor at a "1 euro shot" bar. Yes, the drink was unforgettable on my books. Even though it was raining cats and dogs (I really think you brought the rain with you from Montenegro), you made time and moved your schedule around to see us. Thank you and we are grateful. So great to see you are happy. See you around next time.
