I am the ocean.
I am the sea.
There is a world inside of me.

Korea is an incredible country but it's a world away from English speaking culture. If you eat in a restaurant, the menu is all in Korean, at the grocery store all products are in Korean - rarely that we can find an English translation of what the product is and the road signs have an English translation but the writing is small that you can miss your turn if you really don't pay attention. So using the train, subway or just as easy as riding a taxi can be crazy and intimidating. Translation apps are quite handy for me when I want to ask something and of course, understanding them back is quite hard but we got used to living like that - expressing ourselves by hand gestures and god knows what hand signals we are doing. Thankfully, most often than not, we were able to get information and achieve whatever question we have in mind. Koreans are very helpful even though they cannot express themselves well, the attitude of just trying, deserves a complement.
Going out here is always an adventure! You always have new things that you discover and is always very exciting, even just using the train. Like today, we wanted see COEX Aquarium that is housed at COEX Mall. We took a train from Pyeongtaek (where we live) to Seoul Station, the train ride was about 50 minutes. The train is very comfortable, just avoid rush hour or else you will be standing the whole ride.
COEX Aquarium is said to be Korea's largest aquarium. The aquarium exhibits different types of fishes and under the sea animals from all over the world - from Inca Empire, the Amazon, Asia, seven seas, and ocean kingdom. Of course, Korean marine and aquatic animals are also part of the exhibit in the aquarium. The aquarium a large under the sea tunnel where you can see the sharks and sting rays swimming on top of you. If you are lucky enough, you can see sharks being fed at a specific time.

There is always something that we look forward to when we go out. We live for experiences like this.
