AUTUMN IN SOUTH KOREA (Gapyeong-gun, South Korea)

"I'm so glad I live in a world where there are Octobers."
- L.M Montgomery | Anne of Green Gables

Fall is my favorite season of the year. We have finally 4 seasons here in South Korea, it only means that we have been living here for almost a year. Time flies really fast. It seems not so long ago, we just arrived here with our dogs and was unpacking our stuff. “The time when everything bursts with its last beauty, as if nature had been saving up all year for the grand finale.” (Lauren DeStefano | Wither) It is just fitting to compare our journey with this quote, since we have completed our first year, perfect of a grand finale. Fall marks another milestone in our expat journey and adventures in South Korea, couldn't believe it went by fast, right before our eyes. Lucky enough, my parents visited us again and was able to witness the changing of seasons.

We went to the Garden of Morning Calm at Gapyeong-gun. This garden is said to be the oldest private garden in Korea. All throughout the garden are scenic walkways, flower beds and manicured grass. This garden has beautiful foliage and shows the true beauty of nature in Korea.

“Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive - it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we know all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there? (L.M Montgomery | Anne of Green Gables)

Another fun discovery in South Korea, another one for the books.

Wow, such beautiful pictures. Love the colours!! I have a question. You have lived in Korea and I was wondering whether it's worth it to visit Incheon instead of going straight from the airport to Seoul. Do you know?

Thank you! Autumn here looks amazing as well as Cherry Blossom Season! :) I think its better if you go straight to Seoul. Incheon only has China Town, its just okay. I love Seoul better! :P If you need information, let me know. Seoul is 1 hr away by train from Incheon Airport! :)
