I will love you like how Van Gogh paints,
how long-separated lovers touch again,
how King Henry gave everything up for Anne Boleyn,
how Akeelah spells all the impossible words in the dictionary.
I will love you passionately.
I will love you perfectly.
I will love you like it’s the only thing I know how to do.
I will love you in the truest, most unexplainable sense.
I will love you in the darkness, I will love you in the light,
and I will love you in the chasm that lies in between.
Every single part of me will love every single part of you.
So let me and love me, too.
Because I do not want these to be just dreams of how I will love you.

We met in desert wilderness - a place we knew nothing about but learned to love - Doha, Qatar. This is where we met and fell in love. Tangerine worked for an airline in Qatar while Brock managed a construction project there. Little did we know that, God has plans - a lurking event waiting to surprise us. God put us together in the same room one night and from there, we started our story.

Prior dating, we have been traveling separately for work and leisure. Brock's work permitted him to get vacation time twice or thrice, sometimes four times a year for about two to four weeks at a time. As of today, he has step foot to 55 countries. For most trips, particularly in Europe, he took the backpacker approach, staying in hostels and following a loosely planned itinerary. He loves to stay at hostels, it is cheap, convenient and great place to meet people. He picnicked with wild animals at the Serengeti in Kenya, bungee jumped in New Zealand and visited the outback in Australia, to name a few of his adventures.

Before getting married, Tangerine, was an ex-flight attendant and traveled mostly for work and sometimes travels for leisure. Her trips were short and frequent. As of today, she has been to 69 countries. She often returned to the same place multiple times a year and because of this, she was able to strategically hit all the key stops and many under the radar spots without feeling vacation overload. She was able to marvel Taj Mahal in India, pet a cub in South Africa, and eat street food in Hong Kong and Singapore. She knows most major cities like the back of her hand.

We stepped into our 6th continent - together.
Both of us, live and breathe travel, it is part of the attraction that brought us closer together. After our destination wedding in the Philippines, our hunger and thirst for travel doubled. Since then, we have moved and lived in Qatar, USA, Djibouti and South Korea, together with our beloved dogs. In 2015, we took a hiatus on our expat life to settle down in the US but life did not go as planned. One and a half years later, we sold our house and packed our belongings and just like that our semi-nomadic life is back. We are currently living in Tel Aviv, Israel.
On this blog, our goal is to share our travels + adventures that we have done together.
