I felt my lungs inflate with onrush of scenery - the air, the mountains, the trees, people.
I thought, "This is what it is to be happy."

Sunny and humid day in Korea. We walked at the park, gazed at the serene and peaceful lotus flowers surrounding us. Amazed by the fact that beauty grows out of this murky mud. "Be like a lotus flower. Let the beauty of your hear speak. Be grateful for mud, air, water and light." (Amit Ray | The Transforming Power). Yes, as simple as this may seem, I am just grateful that we are here having unbridled fun and adventure together. With the tragedies that had happened recently, I can't help but put ourselves in that situation - we always travel, always on the go, we are always overseas, we are always far from home and it's only the two of us. This could have been us but luckily, we are here and together. So if you are busy, take a moment of pause - do it for yourself, be grateful and forever thankful, because I know I am. It's funny how a simple reminder can put things into perspective once in a while.
