After the cruise, it went back to the embarkation port which was Copenhagen. From Copenhagen, we flew to Iceland. We decided to extend our trip and see one of the most exciting countries in the world - Iceland. During the time that we were there, June, it was during the "Midnight Sun". Midnight Sun is a natural phenomenon occurring during summer months at latitudes north and nearby the Arctic Circle. Literally, the sunset is around 1-1:30 in the morning. It was hard to sleep because the sun was still shining our bedroom, we were unlucky to get a room facing the sun. Even it was summer months already, the weather was quite chilly in Iceland. Reykjavik is small and cute town and is navigable by foot. You can walk for hours and see this beautiful town.
