“Memory's images, once they are fixed in words, are erased," Polo said.
"Perhaps I am afraid of losing Venice all at once, if I speak of it, or perhaps,
speaking of other cities, I have already lost it, little by little.”
- Italo Calvino | Invisible Cities

A city separated by canals and connected by bridges. We stayed in Venice for 3 days. We walked around the little cobbled streets all day, rode the gondola, chit chats over coffee in a small quaint cafe, marveled with the numerous churches Venice has to offer, amazed by the architecture of it all and best of all stuffed ourselves with delicious Italian food.

Two lovers sharing a gondola with a beautiful bridge on site - enough to make me feel soppy. As the legends say, that if two lovers pass by under the Rialto Bridge, they'll be granted with eternal love. God bless our love.

This was Brock's first time in Venice and it was my second time. But each time, my reaction is still the same, still amazed, still in awe.
Undeniably, Venice left an indelible mark in my heart and soul. It's just a beautiful place and words are not enough to describe it.
